Does the time you submit your app have any effect? I’ve seen some people comment that they’re losing hope because they submitted on Feb 1st (I submitted on Jan 31st and got a SGR on april 22nd) and I’m confused if the time you submitted your app has any affect on how they review you

@sleeplessincali I submitted my application Feb 1st at like 11 PM and was accepted today for spring admission so I don’t think it has an effect on admission.

@sleeplessincali I don’t think the time of when you submit has to do with how they review you. I’ve had friends who submit mins before an application is due and get admitted to those school. However, maybe sending your hs grades or fall grades could affect it if months have past (assuming)
I turned in my app maybe 4 days before the deadline. I don’t think when you turned in your app (as long it was prior to the deadline) makes any difference

yall…seeing all these decisions out is making me anxious…any hope for people who received a SGR and yet to submit grades because of how late spring semester ends ?

Do you think getting a B in the writing requirement would be detrimental as I received a SGR?
@millerman63 I’ve heard that USC takes the writing and math requirement seriously but they also stated that they dont instantly decide applicants through SGRs…
