@Shwchlorine thank you so much for your insightful replies. Every bit of encouragement helps at this point. Wishing you all the best.
@LadyRuka my family is from Oregon & I just love Portland so explains the user name but I am actually applying from a CCC so I doubt we share the same counselor. Not sure if USC decisions are all that random, it would make sense that each school is waiting to send final notices in batches so you did give me some hope that perhaps Annenberg decisions are still pending. I just don’t recall anyone on this thread getting accepted to Annenberg after SGR so pls chime in as it would help future transfer applicants as well. Thanks for reaching out & good luck to you, maybe we will end up together at Annenberg.
i see/hear some people talking about how we will surely hear by july 15th… why are people saying this? is it just based off of last year? or is there some information that I missed? thanks ily all
@californiagirlxo I recommend sending an official transcript from your current college and send it as an electronic copy as soon as your Spring grades have been updated. Hope this helps!
Sorry @PE1999 You have that helpful/good/positive nature and I really thought you would get in, dang. Hate to sound old, but it happened for a reason…you just don’t know what the reason is yet, but it will show itself someday. Best of luck, sounds like we may see you on the next thread!
@PE1999 I am so sorry! I know you really wanted this and it hurts to wait so long and be declined. However, take as a not this year. Good things are coming your way!
@techdeckfreak@makeupyourmind Thank you guys for the support! I really appreciate it <3. @CADREAMIN I cant thank you enough for being really informative, you’re doing us a big favor by easing our stress with your info and being optimistic and you will definitely see me in the 2022 thread! and yeah I truly believe everything happens for a reason and that great things are meant to happen if you work for it even if its not now its definitely gonna be there in the foreseeable future
@techdeckfreak as for my stats and major, I applied for Mechanical Engineering and my GPA is 3.65. I honestly didnt try with my application because my decision to apply was made 2 days before the deadline since i wasnt sure if i should apply for this year because i finish my major pre reqs this upcoming year (calc III and the rest of the physics classes). But it was great to go through the process and to know more about it minus the stress and anxiety lol.
@pe1999 NOOOO im really sorry to hear that. however, it’s very refreshing to see how positive and optimistic you are. keep your head up, and you’ll get in next year!!
@Portland4Life Thanks for the insight! My family’s from Oregon too, though I stayed in state for my first year of college. And you’re right, it does feel more hopeful knowing that some Annenberg decisions might still be pending. I didn’t imagine the admissions process to take this long, but hey, if the ending is good, then I’ll gladly take the wait. Best of luck to you, and it would for sure be awesome if we both end up at Annenberg!
