@hermit1214 right! all my other schools are sending decisions either right now or within the next month. USC’s deadline was so early so it’s weird that decisions are that late. oh well
@mill213 well… f
@mill213 Hey how did you contact the counselors? By call? I tried emailing them multiple times but they seem to never reply to emails…
That’s so stressful considering the UCs are releasing this month and they want a deposit by June 1st… welp I guess the admissions anxiety is here to stay
@erina19 yup! i just called the undergraduate admissions office and chose the transfer option. asked her a quick question regarding my portal and then out of curiosity when decisions were coming out and she said they’re looking at releasing them all on may 31. i always try to call admissions people bc they never seem to reply to emails for whatever reason
@mill213 Ikr? I was having problems with my portal too, my foreign transcript said that it was still “awaiting”, so I called them about it then I was just told not to worry about it because they have it.
I find that decision to wait until May 31 to be arrogant and cruel…especially for TTP students who left their schools overseas due to this virus. If they have made the grade up to this point and are tracking well this semester just let them in. Seems very unreasonable to make them wait…especially given how little support they were offered in the transition from overseas.
Does anyone if USC accepts math classes from UCLA Extension? I go to a CC, but I took my Calculus 1 and 2 classes at UCLA Extension. My major is Economics or alternative International Relations and Global Economy.
Hmm…Does that mean SGR will be asked May 31 as well???
I asked my private college counselor about the same question as I took Stats XL10 at UCLA Extension, and to my knowledge, they will accept it.
I think due to the coronavirus schools will be more lenient on the deposit deadline because of financial constraints
Wow. If that’s true, that’s actually kind of insane to keep us all waiting for that long.
Wait are they still doing SGR?
Anyone else noticed that just a few minutes ago they updated their admissions website to
Although in-person events have been cancelled through May 29 in order to protect the health and safety of our community, we are excited to offer virtual events for admitted and prospective students to let you explore all that USC has to offer.

Fight On!
I also emailed a transfer admissions counselor and he said we would begin hearing back in late May.
dang what do we do for 50 days?
so does financial aid come out with or after decisions?
@xlouise29 omg that’s so far away, I’m so tired of the waitingg.
The wait continues…
@mill213 And they say that every year so they don’t get a million phone calls.
Just like they say regular decision are April 1st and they are always out before that. They are not going to give anyone the inside scoop on a phone call. But they do want to get you off of the phone. That is the standard answer to do that.
