2020-2021 USC Transfer

A couple of my son’s friends just received their acceptance as of a few minutes ago. My son still has not received his decision yet.

@MagicBus were they TTP or non-TTP?

@MagicBus Do you happen to know if they are TTP students?

Non-TTP; Viterbi applicant. My son is now concerned since they both applied to the same major and attend the same CCC.

I just got an e-mail notification and update today! My guess is they are doing rolling admissions and most will find out by mid-May.

@MagicBus Were they applying to enter as sophomores or juniors?

He is a Junior transfer for CS.

Accepted!

Junior Transfer from CA CC

Found out today at 5:30 via email to portal update. The acceptance letter was beautiful, but I committed to Haas over the weekend so I won’t be attending. Good luck to everyone!

Are these acceptances coming out sooner than usual or is this the usual timeline?

Has anybody non-TTP and non-CCC received any decision? I am an international, non-TTP and non-CCC and still no answer

@collegeTRANSF3R from what I’ve been seeing on the 2019 thread, a few acceptances come out mid april (most of them are ttp with an exception of a few non-ttp) and then the first wave came May 1st, so this is a tad unusual.

Im a CCC transfer, non TTP and I’m definitely starting to get worried. I’m an incoming junior real estate development applicant and so far I have heard nothing, no grade requests either. Everyone was previously stating that their withdraw button was removed and mine is still there. Are these bad signs?

…i cant help but overreact now lol. Hope I get accepted in the next few weeks but if not, I guess its an L

@Kozzie I wouldn’t worry just yet! There is still plenty of time to get accepted, and the fact that you haven’t received a sgr might mean you will receive a decision very soon- also the withdraw application option doesn’t disappear until a couple of hours before you receive a decision, so it’s perfectly normal to still have it there.

@seabee91 congrats bro!

Starting to realize why @CADREAMIN said this is a brutal process LOL seeing others get their acceptances while I haven’t heard a peep from USC is making me nervous. I hate it.

@Heisenberg15 I appreciate the reassurance, just stressful times not knowing where I’ll be 4 months from now.

@bean01262020 Agreed- my goodness this is such torture lol

Congrats on all the new acceptances! From what I am seeing, the people who are starting to get their decisions are TTP or CCC applicants.
