@grapesoda I’m in almost the same situation! I know I didn’t get an SGR because I finished my AA in December, but other than that I don’t know why I didn’t get a scholarship email. It’s worrying me too!
is not receiving a SGR/WGR request good or bad? I know I’m competitive (4.0/1550), so I’m not an immediate reject, but I haven’t received any communication from USC apart from e-mails regarding FA verification.

Transfer2020dab I dont’ even know. In one way I’d find grades requests encouraging, as I’ve seen people on threads before that had them from USC that said they had like 60 hours or so and very high grades, so to me they had proven themselves. Considering the online format that may be to come, I’d consider a grade request a positive thing since they’re seeing how you handle online courses, otherwise how could they know? Online format is very different than irl and I’m concerned for that reason that they haven’t followed up with me. I’ve proven myself , but not online.

for those of you who have been requested financial aid documents, can I ask what kind? i submitted all my financial aid after I submitted my application back in january but haven’t heard from admissions or the financial aid office.
Just received a WGR. For those who have received this, is there something that indicates it on your portal? Or is it just something that you are emailed and asked to request?
I don’t see anything on my portal but I just received an e-mail to submit the winter grade report. I am applying as a junior transfer to Marshall from UC Davis.
@dood523 For me, a “Winter Grade Request” showed up at the bottom of the checklist in my portal.

Same for me. I received an email stating I needed to submit my winter grades, but there is still no update on my portal checklist. I uploaded my unofficial transcript, and indicated that it was for the updated winter grades.
Does anyone also know if we have submit an official copy of our transcripts along with uploading our unofficial transcripts?

I’m a junior transfer applicant to Marshall and just received and SGR. Kinda frustrated because my CC spring semester doesn’t end until mid June so I won’t get a final decision until late june or early july 
I don’t know how USC works, but I have received request for financial aid documentation and still was rejected from one college. Not sure if it’s indicative of something or not.
@grapesoda2 what kind of financial aid documentation? fafsa? tax forms?
On my financial aid portal it says that “Financial Aid Summaries for transfer students will be released in early May,” anyone else has this?
Make sure to apply for the “Combo” application. That’s the test & the license in 1 shot. Most people don’t realize passing the test does not automatically give them a license.
To get the license too, you have to submit your fingerprints to Calif DOJ, they run a background check on you, then they send it to Dept. of Real Estate (DRE). It’s $49 + rolling fee. A rolling fee is the cost that the company charges to roll your hands across the glass & is always a different price so shop around for the cheapest rolling fee. I found a camera repair shop that did it for $18 rolling fee + $49. Print the form “RE 237” and take it to the place who is gonna roll your fingerprints.
You should get started quickly on your fingerprints cuz it takes a while for DRE to process your RE application & even though you passed the exam, you cannot get a RE license until your fingerprints & background are completed & only DOJ is the one who can send that to DRE.
