2020 New Product Costco Thread

The Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema is pretty darn good. It’s the same one that’s included with the chicken street taco kit.

I love the tortilla crusted tilapia in the frozen section. I hadn’t been able to find it for months, possibly years. I’m trying to cram as much as I can into my freezer before it disappears again.

For the first time in almost 30 years, I don’t have a chest freezer and I’m missing it in these covid times. We have the organic frozen mixed vegetables at almost every dinner and they’ve disappeared from Costco. Regular frozen veggies are hard to find at the regular grocery stores. Fresh veggies are very limited.

We liked the new (at least I hadn’t seen it before this summer) Greek gyros kit. It’s in the refrigerated case. Well seasoned meat, tzatsiki sauce, and some pitas.

We love the cauliflower crust pizza in the frozen section. Pre-covid, I made it for a casual couples dinner and everyone liked it more than the one from the local pizza place. I do doctor it up with more mozzarella and often mushrooms or other veggies. I cook it on steel pizza pan and it comes out crisp and delicious.

Made an in-person Costco run yesterday. Along the entry aisle they had the boxes of disposable masks that I saw last time and beside them were 4-packs of fabric masks. New since my last visit were several types of hand sanitizer. If you chose the box with a dozen pocket sized bottles you could also get a big jug for refills, or opt for a two pack of quart sized ones for your desk. The displays took up half the toilet paper aisle! Too bad we can’t time-travel some of these supplies back to March and make everyone less anxious.
And perhaps indicative of what folks in my location have been stocking up on, there were no large sized bottles of wine of any type. ?

Costco now sells a 25lb sack of bread flour for $5.75!!!

@Sybylla, Costco may not have curbside pickup but there is delivery to many zip codes.
