@FallGirl, If you haven’t found one yet this year, you could get it from Amazon.

Here are the pillowcases my D swears are just as good as the more expensive ones.
I love this thread - I have already bought several things like the boho bandeaus and the flying wish paper. Last night my D19 mentioned wanting a silk pillowcase so I was excited to see these links this morning! Must be some new glitch though because when I clicked on them the opened over 5 new pages on my computer! ![]()
Here is something I bought to send to my niece and nephew who live right in Boston - City Bonfire, it’s like a mini portable fire pit. It is pretty small so could be considered stocking stuffer size. It says it is all soy so safe to use to roast marshmallows so I am sending s’mores ingredients with it. Not sure where they will use it though - pretty sure Boston Common will not allow a campfire!
Same thing happened but on the City Bonfire link! It opened about 10 new pages! It must be something to do with the new CC website. I’m glad the flying wish paper made the cut!
Thanks, @showmom858! I may order that one. This is a stocking stuffer ‘extra’ gift for a family member so this price range is perfect.
So many great ideas, thanks all. Thought Id add one. I use one of these phone/keys/credit card/cash belts when I go biking, and find them handy, slim in profile and bulk, and comfortable. Work for running/walking/biking, whenever don’t have pockets, don’t want to put stuff in pockets, or as money belt type thing when traveling. Getting one for my adult kid as stocking stuffer (it isn’t big or bulky). I think she will find a use for it. Thanks again all.
If you want the Amazon silk pillowcases grab them soon - many of them won’t come until after Christmas. They also have a 2 per person limit.
I just ordered mini alarms for safety from an instagram ad - they look like they can hang from a keyring and if pressed will go off for 30+ minutes or until turned off by the user - size of a car fob? I ordered from She’s Birdie - direct - as theirs were quite stylish
but I see a lot of other brands on Amazon too. Approx $20-30 each depending on brand.
I also ordered razor subscription last year for my nieces and daughters from Billie - they ship directly to their college address on a monthly basis and one less thing to have to buy and pay for out of their money! Also saw on Instagram - guess they know me well
@AnAsmom have you checked Etsy?
That’s a great idea! I will ask D to look as the color she liked wasn’t available in the Amazon one.
I am helping her finish her shopping as she’s currently busy with exams but frankly I’m ready to be done looking for deals.
This year because of this thread I’m way ahead on my gift shopping — thanks to this thread and all of you who have posted here😊
I saw a Farmer’s Almanac at our Publix today and thought of you!! It was a 2020 one. Would you like me to buy one and send it to you? PM me if so and I can make it happen.
Thanks @123Mom123! I think I’m good though.
I just ordered some Penzeys spice trial packs for just $1 each, plus that got me 2 free jars of a spice.
I place the order for pick up at a local store, and I swear it wasn’t 10 minutes before they called and said ‘Ready!’ I could not have driven to the store that quickly!
Someone was talking about the silk pillowcase and mask set. Anthropologie has the slip ones 50% Off today. $122 - 50%= $61. Not cheap but an amazing deal for that brand.
I found a Farmer’s Almanac at Safeway! It was even a 2021 edition!
Stockings are officially done.
Found a great, slim in size, festive Holiday Cocktail book today with 50+ recipes. My kids will love this. Also bought two really cool snowman ornaments from the knot store (we live in a seaside town). The body is made of rope knots. I am starting a new tradition of giving them ornaments in their stockings to set aside for their own trees (someday soon).
Hmmm, if we had a Penzy’s store or shipping was reasonable, that would be tempting.
@loveorangecats Just came back to say, I bought these because of your recommendation, for my adult kids and their partners. When they came, I sort of felt silly, like, hmmm. They don’t look like much. But I put them in their stockings and they were the hit of Christmas Eve. No one could stop doing tricks and different shapes with them. So thanks!
I’ll send my thanks for the wine bottle openers - I think my kids thought I was on cutting edge of ideas!!
Lol @abasket! Only one kid got his and he was perplexed by it. Glad your kids liked the wine bottle opener!
