Sadly the SGR really pushes the date you’d ultimately hear back now. They did technically notify you of some decision by the 31st, so now they have until mid-July and they’d be keeping their word. I doubt it would take that long, but it really seems like some SGRs peeps are waiting longer than usual this cycle.

Oh I didn’t realize what specifics you did and were told, that is crazy. I would reply to that email chain and kindly ask if they have everything they need as they mentioned you should get a decision today but you did not hear anything. That’s awful. They need to get their stuff together, the stress they cause is ridiculous and so unecessary!

Office of admissions tweeted about half an hour ago that they’d be closed on memorial day (monday) we all knew that, but it’s official now that they tweeted it, just an fyi aha
& to anyone wondering when FA packages will come, I was on the phone with a FA officer a couple weeks ago cause I had some documents I had to upload. He mentioned that as soon as you get accepted FA starts working on your package, so you should receive your package no later than a week from acceptance.
I’m sure they’ll keep it realistic considering they only give you 2 weeks to decide.

Is anyone else having an issue getting the housing application email?
I’ve went to the housing portal to apply for housing and I’ve yet to receive an email to create an account.
Takes 24 hours, maybe longer on the weekend. Be checking into outside housing as well.
do you think my SGR disappearing could be a sign of a decision coming out soon? it doesn’t appear on my checklist anymore, only thing that’s there are my college & HS transcripts and my common app application
