2021-2022 USC Transfer

given that you’ve made it this far with a solid gpa, i think you already have a 3.5+ gpa in the bag for the spring semester

it should be fine but like bruh they didn’t have to say that…

but still nerve wrecking that they would even put that condition

what’s your major?

bio :)))))) im literally in gen chem and stuff so idk why they want me to die rn

No, you cannot change you major to get bumped to fall, and the earliest you could change your major is at orientation, but either way, uh no.

Yes, there are conditional acceptances, some more specific than others, every year.

oh wow yeah you’re taking some really hard classes!!! i’m guessing that that’s how they weed out some of the people they admitted???

I guess so ://// its just rly scary

i’m sure you’ll kill it in finals!! good luck <33

thank you! I really hope so. im gonna study hard affff

ok thank you for the info!

anyone get a decision today?

I am very sorry to learn about what happened to you and how it impacted you not only psychologically but also academically. First of all, let me tell you that you have made a great decision to appeal to USC. I think you should definitely include your story in your appeal, focusing on how it impacted your academics in community college. Do not be too specific about what happened to you but rather talk about the resilience that made you raise your GPA at last. You should also state why you want to go to USC and how you can be a great asset to the university. Please talk to your counselor for further advice and have at least one person revise your appeal before submitting it. Best of luck!

I think I’m gonna be living off campus and take online classes at my current college, it’d be nice to get used to LA

will those transfer over? correct me if im wrong, but I remember a counselor (Not at USC) telling me that if I were to take classes the summer before transferring to a uni that they wouldn’t count

I also go to a community college where the counselors don’t really know what they’re doing so idk!!

I’m waiting on my credit evals but I think as long as it’s under the 64 credits you are allowed to transfer you can continue to take classes

this is for first years but I think it covers some good options including cc classes Fall Opportunities for Spring Admits | Welcome to Spring 2024

Hi everyone! Is it weird that I don’t have any conditions required to be admitted? It just says my records need to be verified before admission, as well as submit a final copy of my high school transcript???
