Can’t agree more.
I am so frustrated.
I am an international student. If USC posts decisions in mid-July, I only have three weeks to update my F1 visa. It’s impossible…
Thank you! Feeling a little better.
hmm. I feel for you. how about you try and contact your AO about it, just put them in the picture, explain your situation to them and in the end show some interest in USC and how you’d love to attend
I am currently in the quarter system and I end my spring quarter in mid-June. A few weeks ago I received a SGR. Since many people already received a decision, does this mean I have a slim chance of getting in for fall?
From what I understand, a lot of people with SGRs haven’t heard back yet. I believe you will be on track to receive a decision with us as well.
Thanks!
Spring or fall is the million dollar question…it could be either. Good luck!
@CADREAMIN I am pretty sure someone already asked you this–I apologize if this is repetitive–but is there any way to increase your odds of being moved to the fall if you are a spring admit?
Do you know if usc looks at the price or debt of your current house to help determine financial aid?
Just called FA office Friday. They explained for transfer they still count equity of your current home but capped at 2X of income. For example, house with market value of 500000 and debt of 100000, and your income is 90000. Your equity is 400000 but only 2x90000=180000 will be used to add your EFC. Your added EFC = 180000 x5.6% = 10080. This should be added to the EFC generated by your income and other asset. Hope it help.
I have seen at least 3 accepted appeals from this last round of acceptance/rejections, so just convey that passion you have on this message board into your letter of appeal and I strongly believe you’ll have a shot.
I don’t personally know you, but your passion drove a lot of us to the finish line and I think the universe owes you a karma voucher

Don’t give up !
I did!
It’s just the folder, your acceptance letter and certificate of admission!
But sign into the USC applicant portal because they’re giving away tee shirts but you have a time frame to claim it!
when were u accepted? still waiting on mine!
I know I posted this before, so I thought I’d copy/paste it.
"There really isn’t. There’s a section in your admit package that basically says everybody is considered for the fall as space allows, so do not contact them. I tried a lot. I emailed a bunch of people in admissions. Various deans. My admission counselor had a serious change in demeanor and said “There will be no more talk of moving to fall semester”. It really caught me off guard because he had been so nice until that point. Maybe I was annoying. He did later end up being involved in the Olivia Jade thing
My most daring (and dumb) thing was sending a letter directly to the (then) USC president’s house.
TLDR; noting to be done."
I also asked about trying to switch majors (accepted for my second choice, so asked about my first choice), but was assured that my major was not full and that it was not the reason I got in for spring, so changing to another major would do nothing.
Agree with @zettasyntax - there really is nothing you can do to make it happen.
I’m a biology major applying to transfer to USC for 2021-22. I was asked to send in my spring grades so I sent them in: Cell Bio B+, General Bio B, Intro to Latin America A, Elementary Statistics A, Social Class and Inequality A. What are my chances?
Hey, I’ve been watching from the side here. Virgil, did u get accepted to USC?
has anyone else not received their financial aid award yet?
Hoping we hear back today, my SGR disappeared from my portal a couple days ago and I think it’s a good sign considering deadline for decisions was exactly a week ago
