when should spring admits expect to receive emails about setting up our usc emails and stuff?

Itās honestly just a waiting game for a lot of us at this point
I shouldnāt even be on this thread anymore since I got rejected. However, I just uploaded a copy of my final spring grades. I got straight Aās (15 Credits) which bumped my cumulative gpa to a 3.89. I also submitted my appeal letter three days after decisions came out. I feel that I explained my story and why I withdrew twice from one of my classes. I hope this shows the adversity I was able to overcome at the time and USC seeās that I have the āfight onā spirit within me. Iām moving on with another university but I still have some hope left! The fight isnāt over yet! Congratulations to all the Fall & Spring admits! Heck, Iād be super happy if I wouldāve been offered spring admission.

Does anyone know when fall admits will get info on housing? Itās unfortunate transfers arenāt given priority but a lot of us are out of state or international and legit need housing near by till we know the city and stuff. Iām ready to put a deposit on gateway but not sure if USC will come through soon. Any have any ideas about when weāll hear back?
I would call housing and ask. And donāt wait too long on Gateway. Itās a great option.

I called housing yesterday. They said if they still have spots, they will look at these applications by mid July. They advised to look at houses outside. I called icon, they sold out. Tuscany, they only have 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms available and almost sold out. Lorenzo only have 2b2b

I hear Tuscany is great. Ya mid July - then all the outside stuff is picked overā¦āspotsā means if someone drops out or changes mind to attend - not allocated spots - so they are stuck as a filler in any space with any room mateā¦I would rather take some control over it. Older transfer students may find living on campus awkward, it really is a freshman thing to do, sophomores only started staying on campus when the Village opened, prior to that, they fled to outside housing.
Iād be surprised if Gateway still has space - but they are hugeā¦only sold out a couple years in the last decade, but this year there is bigger housing pressure/demand than ever. And sophomore students will feel like they are in a dorm at Gateway (without the restrictions, yay), first since it is all students anyway, but also cause USC is actually using 600 spots for their āon campusā housing.

Besides freshman, the people given priority are the sophomores that attended, paid tuition the year before (in whichever way), and lived in USC housing. Where people come from has no bearing on priority.
The only transfers with a little chance are those that were admitted in April, and even they should be shopping outside housing. Just google the biggies mentioned above and check the bigger property managers like First Choice Housing - they all have websites that show what is available. Look at the DPS Zone and find something within it. Google and maps are friends for those new to the area.

@CADREAMIN do you recommend spending time to find roommates, or should I just quickly apply for a lease at a place like tuscany without roommates?
@mominstrs were you given the chance to fill out a room mate profile matching sheet at Tuscany? @usctransferplssss did you call Tuscany and ask how they assign people rooms there? Gateway use to have a profile to complete, although we didnāt use it at the time, they indicated they helped match people up.
Anyone still aroundā¦Are you guys having any luck finding room mates on Facebook or elsewhere?
