@UKexpat88 thank you!! at last indeed. At long long last??? feels surreal, so happy for my d! And for me lol. Hope more good news for those still waiting today!

@ziveli513 Congrats!! Now I can finally stop checking this forum and focus on my son’s final two-Indiana & Miami U! Although now I feel like I need to check back to hear about her reaction when she gets the letter!

Congrats @ziveli513 I can finally stop following this thread! Let us know what she decides.

If I’m not mistaken, your D was also accepted to UF … mine as well. She had a normal experience with PSU (applied September, heard before Thanksgiving), but is leaning to head to warm weather.

Let us know what your D decides.

Congrats @ziveli513!! I knew she’d be be accepted but glad you finally got the confirmation!! Best of luck wherever she chooses to attend.

@ziveli513 What a relief. I do hope she’s considering UP, my boys have loved it and we’re from Central PA as well

@ziveli513. So happy for you and your D!!! We are!!! Glad the wait is finally over!

@ziveli513 : You have been the model of patience and positivity throughout this entire process, and it’s really a credit to you. If your daughter has the same characteristics, she will be successful wherever she ends up. Honestly, I’ve been lurking here for the last couple of weeks just to see where you (and others, of course) end up!

Congratulations @ziveli513 to both you and your DD!!! As a PA resident and parent of a junior who will be in the wait/acceptance cycle next year I have been following this thread closely. Just to find your decision, I have been checking in multiple times a day. I wish your dd all the best as she makes one of the most challenging decisions of her life up to this point.

Some words of advice. Navigating this next phase of the journey to college can be the hardest. When there are different offers on the table that are each outstanding and each have their own pros and cons it gets very confusing. I will admit that as a parent it was difficult to keep the decision in my dd17 court and only offer a supportive ear. I also admit to feeling some loss as schools that I fell in love with dropped off the list (and then at times appeared back on the list!). I felt so invested after the the search and the visits and I went through the process of imagining her thriving at each of those schools. When she removed a school, which of course had to happen since they can only go to ONE, I grieved a bit and had many doubts. In the end, I was amazed at her maturity and her knowing where she would thrive. It was a fascinating process of growth but nerve racking for me coming from my much older (wiser?) point of view. In the end my dd made the best decision for her and is thriving.

Your dd has amazing choices and she is so fortunate. Be prepared to sit back and let her work out where she should be spending the next part of her journey. Best of luck and blessings to your family.

@PatLawyer you are so very kind, thank you. Your encouragement and shared experience with your son finally breaking through has been so helpful. Congrats again on his perseverance abc success!
I didn’t start off patient on cc, but my true nature asserted itself as I learned to navigate the ups and downs finally and found that majority of posters here are so very considerate and supportive
My d is a superstar, being her mom has made me a better person and I hope I am a good role model for her. Thanks again and good luck to your son st psu, I’m sure he will shine
