My son got in when I checked again this morning. Electrical engineering. Applied in Oct as EA. Deferred at holiday. OOS- WV. gpa 4.5 weighted. ACT 30. Activities average. Many honors classes .

Might not have mattered. Son was wait listed Friday and chosen major was undecided. 1410 3.65. If anyone is interested Ohio State app deadline is midnight Feb 1. Might be heading west. Good luck to all

I think u said you got the deferral message around 12/22 that so many of us EA got?
And u asked what was the deadline posted?
Assuming only one deferral type message went out, the deadline on mine was 1/31, the original priority review group deadline
Seems that we who got that deferred message were in fact deferred, shared by posters here who spoke with admissions and that we are now mixed in with applicants who applied by 11:30
so we are now waiting for 1/31decision date
Psu admissions website says that though decisions will be made by 1/31 for this EA/priority group that portal updates may not show until after 1/31
