Someone on the transfer discord also got SGR. Both were veterans so that probably played a role in their decision

With high confidence I believe that the decision will release this Friday at 3:15pm(based on pure speculation).

Thanks for this thread! Let’s hope decisions come out today. With deposits elsewhere due next week (Wisconsin and Wake), and in case they don’t come out today, I have questions to help us see the chances of admission. He’s Dornsife, non-pathway.

  1. Does anyone know how much rigor of the college and courses is considered? My DS took very hard classes at a good private school and is regretting it - he has 5 As and 2 A-, but a B- in a Set Theory class, which was really hard.

  2. His college has no equivalent for writing 130, but he did take a composition class and reported his A- with winter grade update a month ago. Will the lack of 2 courses or equivalent hurt?

  3. Everyone said essays are incredibly important, but there wasn’t that much to write - are they really?

After 4 pm our son received a spring grade request. He applied to Dornsife. Wishing everybody else the best of luck.

Same here, SGR. Odd because the spring grades were sent to USC about a week + ago (and were well over the 3.7). Anyone have any idea how long it takes for the spring transcript to make its way to admissions? It’s hard to wait so long and then have this, plus deposits are due at other schools on a June 1/June 15.

hey! was checking this thread a lot but never talked, thought this could help for reference, accepted as a sophomore for dornsife fall ‘24, 3.89 gpa at a UC w/ crazy extenuating circumstances from my hs and some national awards, still in shock

My daughter just got in to Viterbi. She was vpp and got in for cs/ba. Beyond thrilled!!! This has been a dream!! Good luck everyone!!

Son accepted last night 5pm PST!! Offered TTP after high school, but never really thought this would happen. TBD if he will accept as he is loving his current 4 year university but so nice to have the option! Best of luck to all still waiting to hear!!
