New AP rankings were just released. FSU not among the top 26 teams.
No surprise there. It’s not like Ga Tech and BC were prime opponents either.
Georgia Tech is now ranked #23.

Yeah, I’m not sold on GA Tech yet.
I’m surprised Clemson is so high. And Notre Dame.
Rankings should be delayed until each team has played about 4 games in each new season. The college football playoff rankings don’t appear until late in each college football season. The CFP rankings start on November 5, 2024 and end on “selection day” December 8,2024 (according to a quick Google search).
Notre Dame has won its first game which was against a ranked opponent (Texas A&M). Additionally, Notre Dame’s recruiting classes have been very strong for several consecutive years leading to high expectations.
Were they among the top 112?
Was a good win but their schedule is weak. I imagine that they’ll do well and lose in the first round of any playoff, if they make it.
Give it a few weeks
FSU needs a new quarterback…and running back, and offensive line. Just replace the entire offense and they should be OK
Well, the spelling leaves a little to be desired…
It reflects our current shaky confidence in the rest of the season
Yay, Texas! YDS and I watched the game in a bar on Cape Cod.
Sigh. I hope it doesn’t take Michigan another 26 years to rebuild.
Yes, we did!
NIU beats ND, at ND
Good for them!
The coach’s reaction to their win was precious! The tears were flowing!!!
Please put in true freshman 4-star prospect Jadyn Davis already.
Just a horrible loss by ND. Awful performance in every aspect of the game. Sadly, can’t say I’m shocked.
Congrats to NIU.
