Another upset. Cal beats Auburn. Iowa loses to Iowa State.
Wow, only needed one week.
Go Bucks!!! OSU!!!
Illinois beats Kansas!!!
I-L-L!
Great win for the Illini:blue_heart:
I-N-I!
I remember when ND lost to Northwestern in 1995, also in South Bend and also as a 28 point favorite. I like Marcus Freeman, so feel a bit bad for him. But what an upset!
SDSU, Boise State, CSU, and Fresno State have been invited into the PAC12. I suspect they’re going to poach a few schools from the AAC as well. I’m thinking Memphis, UTSA, Tulane, or North Texas.
What a sad turn of events. The Pac 12 I knew and loved is absolutely dead and relegated.
I’m old enough to remember when the Pac 10 routinely won the Rose Bowl over the Big 10 champ. Schembechler was 2-8 in the Rose Bowl for a reason. I remember as a kid wondering why anyone would want to tie-in to the Big 10. Their teams were big, boring and slow. The Pac 10 had modern passing attacks and sent QBs into the NFL in droves. The P10 was not just an Olympic sports conference. It was once a great football conference.
Now look what it’s been allowed to become. Bums me out.
Man, our QB goes down and we get Arch Manning as a backup. Life is pretty damn good on the 40 Acres.
With Georgia barely winning right now, I suspect we’ll be no. 1 tomorrow. Ugh. I don’t like being no. 1.
I think you’re right. UGA ain’t looking like a #1 team today. Ugh. A frustrating watch.
Ugh!
Travis Hunter, who plays both ways for Colorado, is just fantastic. Yesterday he had 100 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and an interception on defense.
Wow! It does make me happy for my dad. He poured so much of himself into Texas athletics for decades. He still gets comped two season’s tickets every year.

Twitter/X blew up about South Carolina fans complaining about their win being stolen from them by the referees. Sorry if there some Gamecock fans here, but the calls were legit. I’m thinking they might win more close games if players don’t commit stupid penalties on big plays. A horse-collar tackle? Really? On the other one, he blindsided the QB right underneath his helmet with enough force to break a collarbone. #5 should have been benched after that first pick-6 reversal.
I agree. Also Tuttle can be active but not sure that helps
Prevailing opinion is that Orgi will start, but how long do they wait before seeing what the freshman has?
I assume they’d like redshirt him, but Warren looks awful. And I feel bad for him, since he’s a Leukemia survivor.
