I’ve said from the start that 8 teams seemed right. At the very least the seeding for a 12 team playoff will need to be revamped.

Safety first of course. Too bad for the game – but that is 100% the least of it. Another horrible senseless attack that killed and injured innocent people. Condolences and prayers to all impacted. Absolutely sickening.

Good Lord. I hope my dad didn’t have a heart attack at the end of the UT-ASU game. I can see it now - “Cause of death - UT football.” I texted my sister that, and she wrote back, “I have always thought that would be the cause.”

No kidding. Ohio is set on revenge for the loss in October.
Oregon’s offense doesn’t look much better than Michigan’s at this point. But Oregon’s D is non-existent at the moment. They’re essentially equal in terms of talent.
That loss to Michigan lit a fire under Ohio State. They’ve been cooking ever since.

I am going to get this over with today Jan 1. I am predicting an all Big10 Championship game. Penn State and Ohio State showed some impressive stuff. If they play like they did in this round I think they go on to the final.
I am not a Big10 homer. I am a Big12 via Pac12 fan.

That game was insane. All week, my non UT husband kept saying it was going to be a slaughter. I finally said, “Stop it with that. There’s never a sure thing in college football-anything can happen.” Sure enough, this was no landside victory. I don’t think this bodes well for the next game.

I am glad that ASU had a chance. That non targeting call was bad. That was like the definition of targeting. Plus it made for a more fun game. Hope that kid is OK.

We’re visiting friends in Massachusetts next weekend. I told them I will be watching the UT game on Friday night, with or without them.
