I’m rooting for Texas, obviously, but OSU looks to be the better team. And is favored by 6.5.
It’s an over-simplification, but the Michigan D-line just manhandled the OSU O-line and forced Will Howard into mistakes and having no time to throw.
If Texas can do that, then they’ll win.
Agree to disagree on the targeting. They met face mask to face mask, not the crown of the helmet.
Texas scored twice in less than a minute so our defense was on the field so much early. The defense was on the field for 97 plays, not including penalties. The one area of our team that has my trust is the defense.

I’m not following closely, but, wow, what a weird game. I looked up the stats and each team had fewer than/barely 150 yards in offense in that first half.
A much different final four than in years past. No SEC teams. Ok… I know Texas is one but that hasn’t settled into my head yet.

The Irish are a 1.5 point favorite for the Orange Bowl. That’s interesting too. I would have thought Penn State would be the favorite.
IMO, Penn State is a better version of Notre Dame because Drew Allar is a much better passer.

Texas needs to use Arch. Not just some run plays. Maybe a series here and there. Make OSU really think. That’s where they get into trouble.
I like what Marcus Freeman has done with ND. I am not surprised at all that they are favored. Just remember… NIU won their bowl game. Sometimes those things happen. I am sure their college applications went through the roof.
