I received the same news about American University first semester then UD in the spring. Is there anywhere we can talk to the students who were accepted into this program/offer? Facebook?
@GingerDB I was accepted also and I did not see a Facebook group. I was hoping to see if anyone else was considering this.
Iâll ask around here and see if anybody was offered that option. Doubt it though, since they probably wouldnât make that to In State folks. Itâs an interesting option. I would certainly avail myself of it if it was offered 
Anyone here doing Honors Program and World Scholars? Trying to find an honors roommate also in world scholars now that fall abroad has been canceled
Did they just send out official word? My daughter was set for World Scholars and Honors but declined her offer on Friday. We were wondering if fall would get canceled. Have they postponed you to another semester? Will you still get 2 semesters abroad?
@sapmom My DS did received official word about World Scholars Monday and he is really excited about it now!
âFor the FALL 2020, students enrolling as WS will spend their first semester on our campus in Newark, Delaware, and will study abroad during the 2021 Spring semester instead. With this adjustment to the schedule, we are planning for our WS to experience spirited Blue Hen traditions and all of the opportunities enjoyed by incoming first-year students this fallâŠâ

Is anyone familiar with UDELâs civil engineering department? My son loved UDEL during our tour but was underwhelmed with civil engineering at the admitted student day. The labs were old and dirty and didnât compare to what we saw at other schools like UCONN, Case Western and GWU. Would love to hear good things about the department. Thanks!

So glad they will still get both semesters! And honestly, I think this is better overall! The one drawback I saw with the program was that the students would miss out on all of the fun orientation/start of school traditions!
Anybody got updates on the Honors Program scholarship amount??
I am Curious about this also. My son loved the school. He did like the facilities. But I do agree they seemed A little dirty.
Any input would be appreciated.

@jdhMom Yes. He chose UDel! He was between Drexel and GW too but he really enjoyed admitted students day.

For those students accepted RD later than most, how long does the Cost of Attendance letter take? Also where on the studentâs portal doe the Financials and Cost of Attendance show up? Thanks!
