The Cal State application opened early this year on August 1, 2026. You can start filling out the application now but cannot submit until the submission period of October 1-November 30, 2026.

The CSU’s continue to be test blind and mainly admit based on your academic stats.

The CSU calculator is valid for all campuses except Cal Poly SLO which calculates their GPA on 9-11th a-g course grades not just 10-11th a-g course grades. The calculator still can be used for SLO as long as 9th grades are included.
