The replay booth was using a super secret clock that was different than the broadcast feed or the stadium clock (which are synched).
are you supposed to ask the referees what the “real” clock is?

I was never a Manning fan but I am a Peyton fan now for all the stuff he does off field, his training of QBs and mostly the way he treats his own children. I think his son Marshall will be a great player (I think he’s in 8th grade). He already did a commercial with Dad and Eli and is hysterical in it, just with the facial expressions. His NIL money will be unreal.
And my nephew was the Ump for one of Marshall’s games and he told my nephew ‘good job’.

From all accounts, Arch Manning is a really down to earth person and teammate. People want to hate him because he’s from a famous family but all his teammates describe him as “a normal guy” who just wants to play football with his buddies.

SO happy that UT won. 
I have to admit, my husband and I went to bed a few minutes after the start of the second half. It looked hopeless. Then I happened to see a text on a thread with my sister and Dad’s Lady Friend and realized something must be happening. So I followed the end of the game on my phone.
Unfortunately, Dad had a hard day in the hospital yesterday and showed no interest in the game. That made me sad. He was doing better today, so I’m hoping he got to bask in the victory.
Our new pastor is an Aggie, so I ribbed him at church. His wife grew up in Austin and likes the Longhorns, yay.

The Aggie Volleyball coach came a little inhinged after losing to Wisconsin at home. School with largest NIL for football complains about little old UW NIL for volleyball.

In good news, UT took care of Wisco yesterday so they didn’t sweep Texas teams. 
It would be funny if Texas got beat by UTSA on Saturday.

UTSA is a good team coached by a Texas HS coaching legend. I’m not worried they’ll win, but it may not be the blowout some might be expecting.

Who’s the coach?
Jeff Traylor, longtime coach for Gilmer. Took them to three state championships and, coincidentally, at Gilmer coached the current coach of Texas State, who UT and UTSA just beat. He used to be on the UT staff under Charlie Strong and has coached for Arkansas and SMU. At SMU, he was an assistant to Chad Morris, who used to coach your HS nemesis!

This was so easy that it couldn’t be botched. The fix was in. At least the NCAA acknowledges WMU should have the W.

First, just defend the friggin’ last play of the game and we wouldn’t be here.
Second, behind closed doors, the CFP committee can just call this a loss if they choose. And/or just pick another team for the 12-team playoff, if Michigan is in the mix for a spot.
And if Michigan becomes bowl-eligible, then send them to the “Nobody gives a S” Bowl held in the City of “Two Hours from Nowhere” USA. 
There’s Michigan’s penalty for the WMU “win”, either Michigan doesn’t go to the bowl, because it’s too proud to go (like Notre Dame last season) or they lose millions by sending their team to some obscure bowl where no fan wants to go/attend.
Lastly, “upgrade” (more money, nice city and venue) any bowl that WMU achieves for their season ahead. How about a rematch in some bowl?

Pro isn’t college, even if college is pro. There are many compliance issues these guys aren’t set up for.
