Called today. Waitlist still being worked on. No timeline except generic Jun30. No indication of waves or day-of-week.
Did they say something along the lines of…
“We don’t know if there will be more waitlist acceptances in the future but there’s a possibility that a very small number of students will get off.”
Or did they say that they are actively reviewing the waitlist to make offers?
I know a person who called a few weeks ago and got the first response, which implies the class was full. If you’ve gotten a different response, maybe some space opened up.
More like the latter - maybe it’s my bias/wishing thinking….
At this time, I would think it’s best to assume ‘no’ and get an unexpected upside.

do they send out an email when the waitlist is closed or do we just wait until the 30th?
I remember they said they would send an email when the waitlist is closed, but pretty sure it’s done. I don’t think anyone has even gotten off in the last month and a half

Yeah. One person on Reddit called a few weeks ago and they said the class was full but that there may be some movement (I’m guessing from people unexpectedly pulling out).
I saw Harvard accepted some kids today off the WL and are gonna continue into July. I wonder if that changes things for P-ton.

It’s closed for real, guys. Although this is not what many of us wanted, I wish everyone going to college next semester the best of luck! You’ll all do great things in the world

Good luck everybody! College admissions is so cutthroat right now. Getting waitlisted at Princeton alone is impressive so let’s take our talents to whatever college is lucky to have us!
