26 year playoff drought over!

Wow…what a game. Myers at bat was unbelievable - everybody up and screaming waving those rally towels with every ball he fouled off. Then Victorino…my ear drums almost popped. Total strangers making friends and slapping hands - best ball game I’ve ever been too.
Sorry keymom - we suffered last year so I know how you feel…

It ain’t over til it’s over. Gotta believe. Cubs down two at home at least

And I’m still thinking the White Sox might be able to pull out one at the Trop tonight. They weren’t completely hopeless yesterday – just had the WRONG starting pitcher.

Aaargh!!!

Still wearing black for our White Sox!

Sorry Cubby and Brewers fans…

Go Red Sox! Can we please finish a game before midnight? Pretty please?

Go Phils! Pat the Bat gets two long ones in one game…wow. We’ve got out names in the lottery for WS tickets…you gotta believe!
Too bad about those Eagles though…

good luck toneranger…wish I could go too  aw heck…who cares about the Eagles?
P-H-I-L-L-I-E-S!!

Oh, well. We outperformed expectations and it was a really fun season.
Even though they beat us, I think I will now root for the Rays. They are a fun, energetic team, and I love the last-to-first story.

I don’t want the Rays to win because their fans don’t deserve it. Even in a pennant race they couldn’t sell out the stadium. Compare this to Milwaukee where we got three million fans this year with tons of sellouts.
I want the Phillies so we can say we got beat by the eventual champs.
I was at the game on Sunday in Milwaukee and even though we lost our fans were awesome. Standing ovations until the end, clapping our Thunder stix.
Hoping we can sign CC for next year.
At least we were playing longer than the Cubs

dbwes, like you I will be rooting for the rays. keymom had a good point though about the fans. But their players and their coaches and their manager do deserve a lot of praise.

Oh yes - my wish as well! I fell asleep at the TOP of the 9th last night - ahhhhhh.
I just can’t stay awake past 11 and I hate waking up in the middle of the night suddenly realizing I have no idea how it ended!

Being a lifelong Red Sox fan, I have dreamed of a Red Sox/Phillies world series for 20 years. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I still care about the Eagles- a lot. BUT-- GO PHILLIES!!!

I know what you mean about the late games Lafalum. We went to see the Red Sox on Sunday night and that game didn’t end until well after midnight! I live about 40 miles from Fenway, so we got home at 1:45 am. Getting up at 6 am on Monday morning was brutal.

Will the Sox end up playing the Dodgers in the World Series? If that happens, it will be great theatre when Manny steps up to bat. LOL

Go Red Sox!

no, it will be the Sox and those fightin’ Phils. I know Ryan’s bat has been pretty quiet but I’m hoping he’ll bust out soon. Utley too. In any case, we always have Mr. Grand Slam, the flyin’ Hawiian to turn to…
GO PHILLIES!

don’t forget Werth…Go PHILLIES
