<p>I didn’t think there were any 4 year BEng degrees in the UK; the 4 year degree is a MEng. Are you asking whether the UK BEng degrees are equal to a US BEng? If so the answer is yes.</p>

<p>Yes they do but people who are qualified can skip the first year (I think you need A*AA at A level or the international equivalent to do that - but it’s possible).</p>
