5 Aps in my junior year/ Course selection

Hi, I am a rising junior.
I went to boarding school for my 9th and 10th grade, and I am transferring to a public school in a different state as my whole family is moving.
I need your advice on my course selections for my junior and senior year.
For my 9th grade, I went to a stem school in a different country and took all high school level sciences( physics, chem, bio, earth science) and Advanced pre-calculus. I also have credits in English, P.E., Arts, social studies(world history), and an elective course.
And I repeated my 9th grade in the previous school(boarding school in America), only taking ESL for the whole year… due to my school’s pride in the special system.
In my 10th grade, I took English 10, World History II, AP physics C, Ap Calculus BC, Choir, and Latin I.
I earned all As (A+s in physics, calc, and latin) in these courses.

The school I am transferring to is using block schedule ( which consists of 4 courses each semester - so 8 per year). Therefore, I plan to take AP bio, AP ush, AP language and composition, Ap psychology( I want to be in neuroscience major), Honors Latin III, IV, and Ap stats. It sounds too much, but I am going to take only 4 (ex: ap bio, ap stats, latin III, ap ush) at once.
And I am wondering if it is silly idea to take ap bio, ap ush, and ap lang in the same year… as a foreigner( My mother tongue is Korean by the way…).

If you are wondering, I am aware of high school science materials pretty much ( intensive preparation in Korean stem school… but not perfectly.

What do you think?

You’ll be fine, if anything, 5 ap’s is stressful, but not impossible. I took five this year and survived, so you should be able to as well considering you already took physics c and calc bc

Lots of kids I know took all 3 of those classes plus 2-3 more APs as well. You’ll be fine especially since you sound extremely smart. Calc BC and physics C are hard classes for a lot of ppl, but as a sophomore? That’s amazing. I took 6 APs but they weren’t as hard as the courses you’ve taken before, so I may not be the best judge, but you seem like you’ll be much more prepared than most students. Apush is easy but has a lot of work usually. Psych is just vocab, and since you did fine in Calc, stat should be a breeze.

^I agree with the above posters. BC and Physics C as a sophomore means you got pretty much the hardest APs out of the way. For that reason, I think you can handle 5 APs next year. But I’d advise you to keep in mind that APUSH is more difficult than I think many give it credit for, AP Bio is a lot of info, and AP Lang varies immensely between schools (so ask around). Psych is easy. The Latin is very interesting–are you taking 3 and 4 simultaneously?

You’ll do fine. Probably more than fine, considering your background in a Korean STEM school.
