5th foot found off of B.C. coast

[The Associated Press: 5th human foot washes up on Canada coast](http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gwpc_LGEQvTbEkIxMOReKY8CyA9gD91BJHH00)

The others were right feet

Ah, the BC coast. Snow capped mountains, pristine forests, a mild climate, wonderful people, and the occasional disembodied foot.

^XD I got a chuckle out of that one. :)

This thread was posted right next to the “mtDNA testing” - creepy coincidence!

I love the low-key explanation, but if that’s the case why don’t feet and hands wash up other places? Five feet from at least four people in less than a year, in a relatively small area, is weird. Maybe it’s a statistical fluke, like some cancer clusters. But it seems worth looking into, as I’m sure they are.

Well, as long as it’s not posted right next to the “where do you want to retire?” thread…

It’s not the “footloose” retirement that I have in mind either.

ooh - ADad - that was bad - or good - depending on how you look at it. Good to see you’re putting your best foot forward on this forum!

For a long time we had a stray G.I. Joe foot mixed in w/ all the bathtub toys in our house. We always said it was the “extra foot” we needed in the bathroom.

That sure would be a creepy thing to find washed ahore tho’! <cringe></cringe>

I **hate **when my feet spontaneously disconnect from my legs…

WashDad, I took that to mean that the feet were removed gently… no twisting or wrenching required.

“I hate when my feet spontaneously disconnect from my legs…”

You should see the latest models. (there are internal titanium bungee cords so the feet can’t go travelin’ by themselves.)

How do they know there are multiple victims… I mean maybe the person had 5 feet. Ya know, just saying…

;-)

I’d been wondering where I left my extra foot.

Everyone needs an extra foot here and there.

So many questions…

Why just feet and not hands? Is it because of the shoes? Have all the found feet had shoes on? I’m kind of curious about the shoes. This has a bit of a Twin Peaksesque quality about it…

I guess it must be because of shoes- but why so many and not reported missing?
I want to do dna testing and see if they are related.

I also want to know why I can find three extra garden gloves & they are all for my left hand?

You know, sometimes when you put your left foot in, take it out, and shake it all about - it falls off. I hate when that happens.

I’d lay bets that at least one of them is the foot that always ends up in my mouth.
