<p>I dont know, if I got a 770 I’d be pretty bummed out. Its not such a good score to be honest. I’d definitely be depressed for more than half a day, maybe two days.</p>

<p>Just so you know, I have read multiple times that language exams are not even taken into account. They figure anyone taking them is a native speaker so its not showing anything special. I wouldn’t worry.</p>
<p>Hmm, I’m somewhat native. I’ve lived in the US since kindergarten, but my dad is Japanese so I don’t really know where I fit. And I know how unfair it is for true non-native speakers - I was lucky to get by with 720 in French.</p>

<p>I was/am genuinely worried. At my school, anything under 800 on Math IIC generates an “uhhhh…” <em>looks away</em> response.</p>
<p>I don’t know much about SAT scores, but 770/800 has GOT to be higher than 70th percentile – I got a 760 on Lit, and that was 95th percentile, so I think you’re more than fine.</p>
<p>You should be overjoyed with that score!! I can’t see it hurting you in the least.</p>
<p>Languages are completely different. 790 in Chinese is 57th percentile.</p>
