A "C" for a Senior Final Grade?

Due to the fact that I was in the hospital for a month during my 3rd MP, my 3rd MP grade was a low “C”. My 4th MP grade was a high B but I still can’t pull my final grade to a “B” even with the Final…Will GWU rescind me? I have all A’s and B’s in all of my other classes, just this SEMESTER class is the one that I have trouble with…

I think you are worrying too much. Technically, seniors are “expected to” keep up their grades but I, for one, had trouble focusing on 4th mp. Looks bad? Yea. Am I proud of it? No.
But I think any college, regardless of their rankings and reputations, will give some lee-way to the seniors. I’m sure they understand. Now, if your mid-year report said B+ and on the final report it said something like D or and F, it might raise some issues, but I think you’ll be okay.

Colleges would rescind a student for a failure and even then, they give the option of explaining such a grade before making a final decision. A C is fine - in my opinion - since there are applicants who get accepted to GW with a C in their report cards anyways. You seem to have a very valid reason: hospital for a month is no joke. Many people would completely fail under those circumstances but you managed better than that… And, you have worked on it by getting a high B. I believe you are fine! :D

Don’t worry. My son did not do as well his last term as he had done previously & GW never even questioned it. I’m sure he got a C or C+ in something.
