<p>for those taking a-levels, for the finals; what is the impact of one B for unis like michigan, uchicago and NYU?</p>

I feel sick just thinking about it. and one B is NOT a problem at all. (I applied to Stanford with one B and got in… well, a B in AS, not A2)</p>
<p>nakay probabl had some other REALLY compelling qualities to offset that B. anyway a B in AS can be upped to an A in the final, since it’s the average of the two.</p>
<p>anyone took further maths for this A2?</p>
<p>oh and i forgot to mention…i’ll only be applying this year for entry in next year. so it means that i’ll be sending the actual results to them.</p>

<p>what i meant was… since your A level grades come out AFTER your decision letters arrive, they dont really matter… just dont end up with any U’s …that wud suck hhahah</p>
<p>just make sure your O level grades r decent enough… :)</p>
<p>besides, ive said it a zillion times all over CC that its not just the grades that you need to highlight on your application!!! you are a PERSON, not a bunch of alphabets
