A Meta-thread to save us all time

In China, it’s called Wong Way, but only if you are a bad fighter pilot.

DD has made her choice. Thank you so much for listening to me throughout this thread. I know you want to know what school she chose, but I’m not telling. In fact, I think I’ll start four or five different threads telling you that she made a choice…but I’m not telling you which school she chose. So there.

thumper, obviously your DD has chosen the wong way, or you’d be boasting about her ivy/MIT/CAL T/Berkeley or SWA admissions. So there yourself.

Here it’s the Piggly Wiggly. Not sure what path that’s on.

That’s easy. Those kids are working their way into Hogwarts.

thumper…LOL. I think you need to add to your post: Nah nah 'n nah nah.

Fencersmother: The trouble your kids face is that prim and brach players from SW PA are too numerous for it to be any kind of hook, even with Duquesne. Unless they’re lefties (southpaws from SWPA?).

dadofsam: YOU’RE ON TO US! Southpaws to boot. profuse blushing

We’re not wearing the Lithuanian outfits though. They call the bottom half a skirt and young men (well, unless they are theatre majors) don’t like that.

If you park in driveways, and park on driveways, what on earth do you do on pathways?

HarrietMWelch, you’ve reached a new milestone. PM box is full. That should be worth something.

PS Evil is good.

If you are in SW PA, you could shoot the deer who have now devoured all my tulips, daffies, and other assorted blooms. I sending out my roomba to scare them away.

“In China, it’s called Wong Way, but only if you are a bad fighter pilot.”

What universities are the most prestigious in Asia? Because what Asians think of our colleges is of utmost importance to those of Norwegian descent in Minnesota and those of Portuguese descent in Rhode Island as they make their college choices.

What??? You mean Tasmania is NOT in Asia??? Oh my goodness. What have I done?

Where I live, you have to take the muddy dirt road with lots of ruts in it.

What have you done? Simply chosen the Wong Way; like DD, like parent.

Anyway, as we were researching clubs at T.I.T.S, I became interested in the sewing/embroidery club: TATS.

And their motto is TITS for TATS, I suppose.

(thanks for the easy pitch, fencer)

Fencersmother: I hope you’re not wearing the Lithuanian bottoms while playing tamburitza. That would make you all guilty of egregious ethnic cross-dressing and offend both the Croatian and Lithuanian communities. Just because I live in the San Francisco area [color:red]doesn’t[/color:red] mean that I approve of cross-dressing.

Thumper1: you have just flunked the Seven Continents section of Geography 101.

Well shhhh…don’t tell DD. She’ll never know. Once your at college it doesn’t matter if your 6 miles away or 6000 miles away.

Mathmom-
Maybe you get high on a pathway and have pathos on the highway? According to wikipedia, Pathos means:

How convenient

Well, if it’s a common hook, it’s not a hook, right?

Thumper, you’ve allowed DD to make a wrong college decision, and her life is ruined and it’s your fault. All kinds of pathos there.
