My mother got her paper check on April 25th. I was surprised she got it so early.
Remember that most federal and state systems still have a base that was designed about 1980 and has been expanded and updated on these bases. Remember COBOL and FORTRAN?
I’m quite proud of myself. I’ve resisted checking more than once a day .
I’m not getting a stimulus check but I have been checking for my younger D. I have been checking each day but resisted checking today.
She signed up for unemployment yesterday and was able to do it online. In the meantime I’m helping her a bit.
I only check once a day. Now that we’ve been able to enter DD info, I’m less stressed about the whole thing.
Our $2400 is in our account this morning, as indicated.
For those of you who posted that you really didn’t want a paper check because of the signature, my daughter got her direct deposit in the first batch, but just received a paper letter, signed by the President, telling her that she had received a direct deposit. It came in an IRS envelope, but the letter was from the White House.
Ours was, as promised, in our bank account first thing this morning. And was a little higher than I had calculated (our income last year was in the phase-out range)
Checked the site and it now says our payment is scheduled to be deposited May 6th
So whoever said it would be updated Saturday was correct (assuming it was - had not checked since Friday early).

May 6th for us too. And I checked yesterday - there was no update then.
May 6 for us also! I checked last night at 11:55pm and it was showing; really almost waited until midnight, but was ready to shut the computer down.

My mom’s is due to be deposited on the 6th, as well.
Mine said May 6th last night (well, I guess after midnight on the East Coast) and the money is there this morning!
Just checked out account; it shows as pending!! I assume it will be there by Monday, if not later today; being that it is Saturday, I am not sure.
Hmmm. Our status still says “We do not have enough information to direct deposit your information at this time.” When DH entered the correct (and only for years) bank information, he got a message that it does match their records (or something to that effect). He double-checked and re-entered. Same result. He entered the same info from my page as well. No go. So, will it just default to a check at some point?
@ChoatieMom That is my understanding if your qualify for the money. If they do not have direct deposit information, you will receive a check. Checks are released to lower incomes first, and each mailing it get higher; so those that have an income closer to the upper limit will receive theirs last.
