A pointless class

Hi everyone so…
Basically I am in a pointless class that is an elective, it’s all busy work and the teacher was gone for weeks. Grades are due tomorrow and she just decided to throw some grades in. She gave me 16/30 FOR CRITIQUES! I now have 77.92% and I don’t want a C. What can I do to raise my grade? I don’t understand why things are put in so LOW!

  1. Talk to the teacher. Ask why you got 16/30 for critiques. Did you do all the critiques? Is there a rubric on what critiques should entail? If you were not doing critique wrong, why did it take so long to get feedback?

  2. What percentage of your grade is the critiques?

  3. If you still don’t get good feedback, then talk to your GC. Don’t mention it being a pointless class, but mention that you had a substitute and had not gotten feedback on your work for weeks and am now suddenly getting grades with nothing to back them up.
