Have you guys been able to get a preliminary count of the amount of transfer apps you received for this fall?

Your best source of information for this is going to be to call admissions directly and ask. The only UVa representative that frequents this board is Dean J, who is a first year admissions rep. Even if Dean J has this information, trying to reach her here isn’t going to get a very timely response during the height of reading season. Best of luck to you!

Thanks.

But Dean J - if you happen to see this, drop me a line

I’m not sure how I’m supposed to drop “JB330i” a line, but Blue is correct…I work predominantly with first years. While I read transfer applications, the best source of information about that process is the transfer blog:

[UVA Transfer Blog](http://uvatransferadmission.blogspot.com/)

Thanks J - Ill keep an eye on the blog

BTW - I have a pretty hard time you actually dont know what is referred to by that “drop me a line” colloquialism, but for the sale of the argument - it’s synonymous with “let me know” or “provide me with this piece pf information if it is available to you.”

For old people, dropping a line means making a phone call. :)
