Abor gpa?

So ABOR gpa is calculated by using 16 core classes right? Those classes would be

English - 4 years (composition/literature based)
Math - 4 years - Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and one course requiring Algebra II as a prerequisite.
Laboratory Science - 3 years total (1 year each from any of the following areas are accepted: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Integrated Sciences, and Physics)
Social Science - 2 years (including one year American History)
Foreign Language - 2 years (same language)
Fine Arts - 1 year

So electives wouldn’t be factored into my gpa? Also I’ve taken more than 3 sciences which ones are put into my gpa? Also if by the time I apply I’ll still be taking my last year of English will my gpa be calculated without it? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance!

anybody???

I’m not quite sure, Funky. I’m sure someone here knows though.

Your electives will obviously be factored into your overall GPA that the admissions committee obviously still sees, however your ABOR GPA is exactly what you have in the first post. If you’ve taken more than the listed number of any type of course (science for example), I believe the first three you took (that are in one of those categories) are the ones that are calculated (though I’m not 100% sure).

Your GPA will be calculated with the classes that you have taken and finished and are on your transcript when you apply. So yes, your GPA will be calculated without English.
