<p>Are you talking about registering for classes? Yes, its normally done online or by telephone but advisors can also help register (and often do when forced registration is necessary). Typically, advisors will do the registration for first semester freshmen and transfers and then students register in pre-determined "windows" which are based on accumulated credits. Not necessary to talk with someone in order to register (as long as you don't have any checkstops) or to add/change classes...if they aren't filled already!</p>
