<p>What can be included in this section?</p>

<p>In the following scenarios, should the accomplishment be included under honors?</p>

<p>-Being nominated for a selective summer state program (i.e. Boy’s State)
-Being nominated for a selective summer national program (i.e. Boy’s Nation)
-Being selected by your school to attend a conference, representing the school
-Getting some type of honor at a major, selective summer program</p>

<p>None of the above seem to fit perfectly in either extracurricular or the honors section. Which, if any, of the above do you think can be included in the “Honors” section or is this reserved for only generic awards (i.e. AP Scholar, NMSF, etc.)?</p>

<p>I think all of those qualify as honors. We don’t have any of those awards here, so I just put in an english olympiad, and distinction from the school for best GPA</p>
