<p>My son just received this also and I’ve never heard of it, nor is there any information about it on the UB website. So - I sent an email reply asking if invitees meet some sort of special criteria (or if they just refer to all accepted students as academically talented). If I hear anything back I’ll post it.</p>
<p>I received an email response from UB admissions explaining that the invitation does not go out to every accepted student - just those they consider to be academically talented. It is not, however, limited to honors or scholarship recipients.</p>
