@MRGrimm yes, I saw that - their stats are the same down to the 28 ACT as well. We are waiting to hear back from the VA schools now. He’s interested in staying in state. Is Auburn a top choice for your DS? It’s a wonderful schools, I am a grad myself.
I didn’t even realize this was EA! lol My son applied just a few weeks ago and was notified by email that he has been accepted. We toured there (and Alabama and USC and Clemson) in early November. So, we will need to see what those AUSOM scholarships have to offer my son. Bama is guaranteeing quite a bit of merit aid! Clemson gives nothing, essentially, but I do love it. Our daughter is a sophomore there. Of course, living in CT, my son has also applied to some schools in the North. This will be interesting to see where he ends up.

@jloheac The email that my daughter received says all honors college admission decisions are finalized by mid-February. Now when they are notified, and how they are notified, I have no idea if it’s by email or snail mail.

My son got a wonderful little poster yesterday from SU with a quote from his essay on it! Very sweet gesture. I wish we could get the full financial aid packages soon so we know whether or not it’s worth a visit.
