Dartmouth is definitely in the top 15

it ranked 36 in th latest US new ranking, lehigh 50 , and Arizona state and university of arizona 37,38

if the 36th ranked college rejects me…then im a definite no-no for Princeton :(

hey its for engineering, and weirder things happen to intels. A guy whos in my situation ( international applying frm the US got rejected by Lehigh and got accepted to COrnell) keep faith!

yeah…im keeping faith for next year’s ED princeton!

yeah i got rejected from Bucknell and Lehigh but got accepted to Cornell

How did u hear about Bucknell???

received a letter dated March, 15th
well i guess they rejected me early because of something (maybe because i requested huge fin aid)

accepted at Harvard and Yale!!!
yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh baby!!!

I got accepted to Johns Hopkins

This is my thread so i feel i have a moral obligation to post it here ! ! !!

congrats nomad!!!

Yeah, and you too axfr!! Knew you were going places ;)

thanks axfr.

Astrix mark my words every one goes through some suffering before achieving success. I have a feeling that you will be extremely sucessful in life no matter where you go and what you do. ( btw my predictions for others usually come true)

keep the faith people!

I could cry. Thanks, I needed that right now…

No problem, by faith i meant in yourself not in someone else ( tho i think you got that ). After those 6 rejections( 4 unis 2 scholarships) I felt the same way as you do but I resolved to work my ass off and show those b***** money making machines and get into a really good grad school almost for free( lofty standards I know). The best way towards rejection is revenge

SO what all options do you have right now?

Well I’ve been waitlisted at Grinnell and Middlebury and rejected elsewhere. Waiting on Princeton and Chicago. That’s the long and short of it.

If it doesn’t work out then it’s engg. in India for me, which I’m not really dreading or anything so it’s okay…

Well best of luck for Pton and Chicago! I have a feelin Chicago might like you or if not BITS Pilani and IIT are waiting for you!

Don’t you live in Delhi? Or am i totally wrong?

Haha I’m not sitting for the JEE
BITS… no, there’s a fair chance of that not working out, since I haven’t really prepped these two years. But there are other colleges I’m cool with, even if they’re not well known or anything - I do believe the thing about defining your college experience for yourself

I live in Gurgaon, you’re from Noida right? Have you decided on enrolling at JHU nomad? :)

Accepted: Harvard, Yale, Penn, Cornell, and Amherst.

Still waiting on Princeton (damn its no-online decision policy).

That’s a saviour for lesser mortals like me, cncm… and congrats!
