Reading question where he read 1/12 for 3 days. A:3/20 for 5 days.

I like how there’s 18x-15 and 18x-17. I’m pretty sure it’s 17 because I remember there being an 8 and a 9

Oh sorry my bad, it’s 18sin47/ sin76. NOT 18sin76. I’m just basing this on what you wrote 'cause i don’t remember the question exactly.

^ i already mentioned the reading question,
“the girl needs to read 3/20 of the book”

i’m pretty sure it comes out to 18sin76/sin47

because side AC = b
so sin47/18 = sin76/b
so 18sin76= bsin47
divide by sin 47
so 18sin76/sin47???

Umm I’m pretty sure the diagolals of the square increased by the square of 2 times L because it was a 45,45, 90 trainle and it was asking for hypotonuse which is Lradical2

i know those answer choices for the laws of sine are accurate since they were on my calc…now its time for you guys to figure it out :)!

Yah, I also put 2xL

yeah i said that before, they just didn’t correct it.

sorry guys,
its just that i corrected, but then i copied and pasted so it messed up
i think the list is fine now?

i guess it would make sense because 18sin76/sin47 is like 23.88…and the angle corresponding with that is angle b which is 76…and 18 corresponds with angle a which is 47 so it would make sense that it would be bigger than 18…and also none of the other ones get you over 18…so i guess it is 18sin76/sin47.

For the Elm Street one, was 5 an answer choice i think i may have made a careless calculation error and put 5 if that was a choice

And I’m still confused, is the L one sqrt 2L or just 2L

@ elau, fix the following errors in the list
18x-15- OMIT it
cos2x= -7/9 not -7/11
diagonal of squares increase by sqrt 2 * L not sqrt L *2

the diagonal of the square didnt increase by sqrt L x 2 it was sqrt 2 x L
EDIT: nvm wazza said it right

Ahh the 1/12 book one got my I kept thinking that she read 1/12 of the book total in 3 days so I kept dividing 11/12 by 5 and couldn’t find an answer. That was unclear to me that each day she read 1/12, not 1/12 total in the 3 days

what would i get for a -4 on the math section…about what?

the function question with f(g(x))

@ galib the one on (f(g(x))
f(x) was sqrt x
g(x) was 10x+b
and the line went throuh points (4,6), you needed to find B
