<p>Looking for colleges near each other that support my best friend’s and my conflicting desired majors.</p>
<p>She’s wanting to go to culinary school.</p>
<p>I want to go to school for either: generic English degree, Teaching, becoming a crisis counselor–something to help people, I guess? I haven’t really decided, so it’s sort of flexible.</p>
<p>Also, a little snag: my GPA is low. like 2.8 / 3.2, although my test scores are a little above average (I plan on retaking SAT and taking ACT this year): (1750 sat) and my courses are higher-level.</p>
<p>I don’t really know where to apply, and neither does she. Any suggestions?</p>
