Has anyone from Westchester County, NY heard yet?

Has anyone from NC heard yet?

Anyone from the Midwest gotten their decision?

@neuprospect98 I don’t know if this helps, but a lot of people from Northern New Jersey have gotten in. It seems like everyone from my school has gotten in, but I still haven’t heard back. I applied on November 1st, from what I’ve learned Tulane is completely random with releasing decisions.

@SnapApp I know several people from St. Louis and Chicago that have gotten in.

Just btw, I’m assuming these acceptance are for early decisions?

@Mueenah Tulane doesn’t have early decision. These are early action admittances

@neuprospect98
Yes, my S and s classmate in Westchester.

How long are people seeing between the online acceptance and the receipt of the letter? My daughter was accepted on November 12, but still no letter.

A week is usually the outside. If you don’t have it after the Saturday mail, I would call admissions on Monday and ask them to resend. @myjanda

Good to know, thanks- we’re wildly impatient (ok, I am, my daughter is just thrilled to have been accepted…)

Extensive extracurriculars which were related to his preferred major (history). His common app essay was excellent. His Tulane essay was pretty good as well.

My S did not even check online. So his first experience was the old letter in the mail one! I think that is pretty cool!

Advice: Take SAT multiple times since Tulane superscores

Why is it that some people are getting decisions a couple days after they applied and I and many others had their applications completed in September and are still anxiously waiting? Doesn’t make sense to me.

@nolagirl55 it depends on the admissions counselor and if some people are auto admits plus the acceptances are released randomly. Honestly, I spent my time worrying about it and there’s no point. Don’t over analyze why someone got there decision before you because there are a lot of factors at play.
