I did not. At this point I’m really just happy I got in. My SAT score was less than stellar so I wasn’t really surprised when my acceptance letter didn’t say anything about scholarships.
The status of my application has been “completed and awaiting review” for what seems like a month and a half. Will I receive a decision any time soon?
I know this sounds a little flippant, but it can’t be longer than 18 more days.
I still have not received a decision. I emailed my counselor a couple weeks ago. I explained my interest in Tulane and asked her a couple of questions. She answered my questions and told me that she would mention my email showing interest during committee. I responded with one more question, but she never answered. Should I say anything else. I’d visit Tulane to show more interest, but it doesn’t financially make sense for us to visit until I am accepted. Should I say anything or should I just let the process play out?

@sg2020 Should be through both, but mostly you should now have access to an admitted students section of the website. If you haven’t received the information for that, talk to admissions. This should be your jumping off point: http://admission.tulane.edu/admitted/
Is there any pattern to releasing decisions? I applied towards the app deadline, so does that mean mine will be one of the last, or is it random order?
Pretty random, as far as anyone can tell.

That is fantastic!! Tell her congratulations, and welcome both of you to the Tulane family. Free tuition is pretty great!
If we were deferred and have not heard back by now, is that a bad sign? They seem to be starting to release RD decisions. This is feeling oddly familiar to what happened EA.
I looked back at last year and a lot of people received their acceptance notice at the very end. So hang in there.
@newyorknerd I totally feel you. I just want a decision so badly. It’s been so long!!
Strictly for numbers purposes, can students or parents of students who have applied to Tulane Regular Decision but NOT early action…
click “like” if you or your son/daughter has received a decision
click “helpful” if you or your son/daughter has NOT received a decision
are RD decisions released sporadically or at one time?
@a1h313
Sporadically.
