<p>I’m a high school student in Vietnam and will take the SAT to apply for SMU. What is the most important factor when applying for a Vietnamese student like me?</p>
<p>Ability to pay. LOLZ. I think SAT scores, grades, and amount of financial aid needed, and extracurriculars. Not in that exact of course.</p>
<p>Based on my research, SMU is a good school. BUT, be very careful in selecting majors and be sure you understand that you can be accepted to SMU, but not the course of study you are want. </p>
<p>My advice is to only consider a college where you are accepted into your choice of major as a freshman. Too many ways they can prevent you from getting the education you are paying for.</p>
<p>I’m going to apply to SMU this year. I scored 2150 on SAT; my ECCs I think are excellent (I’m the founder or head organizer in all projects…)
Can I have a chance of getting into SMU with a scholarship?</p>
