Admission to University of Alberta

Would it be difficult or merely a longer process to gain admission to University of Alberta as an international Biology major. My average right now is 90, heading in to my 4th year in U.S highschool, I’m hoping straight 90’s again. I got two physician LOR’s and a bunch of medical, sports and Club experiences?

Admission to Canadian universities is much more straight forward than admission to US schools. Start here https://www.ualberta.ca/admissions/international/admission It’s a pretty quick application process.

My daughters applied to some universities in Canada from a US high school. The process was quite straightforward, and was significantly easier than applying to universities in the US. My understanding is that acceptances tend to come more quickly for students whose stats are well above the minimum required for acceptance. For us the process was very quick.

If you are not a Canadian citizen nor Canadian permanent resident then your acceptance will come with information on how to apply for a visa. We did not need to apply for visas, but my understanding is that this process is also relatively straightforward.
