<p>I applied EA and got accepted around late December. I had also applied EA to UNLV, DePaul, U Tampa and UPitt, and got accepted to all those places but Pitt :/…</p>
<p>I had a 3.3 GPA (UW and at a New England Prep School) and a 1780 Combined SAT. I do a lot of EC, mainly in the arts. </p>
<p>I think I got in because I wrote a really strong essay and had good teacher recommendations. Santa Clara is the type of school that cares about who you are, so I wasn’t viewed as a number in any way (applying to Pitt was the opposite.) </p>
<p>I can’t wait to go next year. I think I’m gonna major in Philosophy and English.</p>
