@PapaLasagna Congratulations! Your stats are almost completely identical to mine the only difference being I have a slightly higher class rank. We also applied two days apart and were deferred the same day. I’m hoping this means I will finally be accepted as well. Would you mind telling me what program/major you are?
My daughter was waitlisted righ about 5pm. She has a 27 ACT. 3.67, leaderdhip, AP, volunteer. Everuthing. Genrrations of osu family. So -we wait. Good luck to everyone

It’s amazing to see all of these people with higher stats than me that were waitlisted and even rejected. I applied to Fishers College of Business for those of you wondering
I was waitlisted around 5:30 pm. 31 ACT, 3.64 GPA at time of application but sent in an updated trancsript with 3.84 GPA after being deferred 1/31. Full time CCP student this year. I do NHS, varsity lacrosse, and JSA. In-state sociology major. OSU has always been my first choice and I’m extremely disappointed to have waited for 5 months and to now be waiting again with no clue when I’ll get further news. I should also note that I was accepted EA into Case Western, which is more selective than OSU, so it’s confusing that OSU didn’t accept me.
Also, does anyone know if you can commit to a regional campus but also still be on the waitlist? I want to go to OSU no matter what but obviously I prefer the main campus.
waitlisted! 30 ACT 4.1 WGPA, computer and information science sorta bummed out but honestly at least it wasnt a rejection!

Ridiculous, do they just wait list everyone? Keep us all on this little string of theirs? Just let me know so I can make a decision. Told me I would know by March this is awful
I’m starting to feel like they are waitlisting/rejecting so many good students so that they can try to fill up some of their branch campuses
