More waiting…
Yay! My Daughter was admitted!! OOS Business Columbus campus!!! will update later going to dinner to celebrate! Good luck everyone! The wait is nearly over.
our son, college kid #2 in our house, applied the first day and still hasn’t heard. He has chosen another school, got tired of waiting. Our daughter is a senior at OSU and I can tell you that alot of things about the school are as frustrating as this experience has been. Good luck everyone !

Hi everyone. I’ve been following along with this page since my daughter applied. She applied EA and got deferred about an hour ago. We are OOS from California with a 3.9 GPA (at a very competitive high school) and a 27 act. Lots of ECs. What are her chances of getting in after being deferred? Thank you
Admitted- Microbiology with pre-med track!!!
Daughter still in Evaluation OOS 32 (33) ACT, 3.98 u/w, rigorous courses (14 Direct DE courses, with 4.0) strong extracurriculars, references, honors etc. Applied by Nov. 1.
Has anyone contacted their local admissions recruiter and asked admissions questions? I haven’t seen anyone post about contacting someone outside of the Columbus admissions office. They have not been very uniform in their answers from reading this year’s and last year’s posts. I’d rather not waste my time getting misinformation depending on which person I speak to or ask for speculation from folks who don’t have real answers. They need to post more specific info on their website or at least provide info like, “now that you’re deferred, here are some FAQ’s”. I follow Dean J at UVA on Twitter. Total professional and cares about the process and the kids. tOSU should take note! Not impressed.
Is there a way to increase your chances of being accepted after getting deferred? I have a 3.8 GPA but a 23 ACT. I applied for Microbiology with a premed track.
