Admissions Question

Hi,

I have been out of school for approximately 10 years and I am looking at returning to school for the first time since High School. I found ASU had online courses however looking back to my high school GPA I never truly applied myself as best I could back then but I was fortunate enough to land several high paying jobs so I always put college off. If I remember right my GPA was around 2.3 or so and I was wondering exactly how strict ASU is in regards to the GPA requirement regarding someone who has been out of school for so long.

Cliffnotes

-Want to attend ASU online. (B.S. In Psychology)
-Never took SAT/ACT
-GPA hovering around 2.3(ish)
-Graduated with HS Diploma

Thanks in advance.

Since you have no college credits and won’t be eligible for most merit scholarships, why not get some transfer credits from one of the community colleges first? They also have online classes - and much cheaper!

I might be mistaken, but I think they don’t look at your high school GPA if you’ve been out of school for a certain amount of years and have certain work experience. I would actually look up an advisor in the Psychology department and ask (it’s on the website).
