Adult "Chance Me!"

Kristin, that’s very sweet and I hear you. I don’t care about a few pounds extra at this point in my life in terms of looking fabulous. But I do care about my health and the numbers start to climb at a certain age and it is just healthier not to carry too much weight. Part of our concern with weight has to do with being her for our kids longer so that we can keep loving them.

Please go back to Adult “Chance Me!”. I need some more laughs.

And btw, here’s your safety: your scale is clearly busted. Or is that a reach? So hard to tell these days.

Kristin5792, post20, has clearly learned to love the parent on the couch.

all reaches for me (my husband, who often checks out my butt, is older than I so that is a no go…) except a safety in not losing the TV remote. We have a fancy schmancy one that has its own little cradle.

I think you have to give us your stats and ECs. Are you willing to go OOS? Do you have any hooks? Would you be 1st gen in your family to have anyone younger look at your butt?

Does posting on the “Dressing Young” thread qualify as an EC?

These are sooo funny, especially love “the parent on the couch”!

If you’re kids have caused you to grow old before your time, does that give you legacy status?

(Mine, for the most part, haven’t).

Ha! They’re not all “reaches” for me, because many of them have ALREADY happened to me in 2010.

I met my son’s new (as of 2/10) girlfriend, and she seemed perfectly nice.

I had my car towed to the dealer because I thought there was something horribly wrong with the axle or the wheel – it had fallen off the jack onto the bare wheel while I was changing a flat tire late at night, and then there was a horrible grinding noise when I tried to drive with the spare. It turned out to be a bent piece of plastic skirting rubbing against the tire, and they didn’t charge me to bend it back. I thought I was looking at thousands of dollars of repair cost.

I go weeks and weeks without losing the TV remotes, because my wife is only home 2-3 nights a week and barely touches them.

This summer has been so dry, and then so wet, and so hot, that nothing is growing on my lawn OR in my driveway.

Charmed life or what?

"I’ll catch somebody younger than I am checking out my butt.

100% but not for the reason you hoped!! "

TOO FUNNY!

That is not a safety in my house any more than closets are a safety for shoes being put away or a sink is a safety for dishes being put in it. Clearly, you are an outstanding applicant and will go far.

You know, JHS, that kind of bragging is a bit unseemly. Admissions officers can detect that whiff of privilege a mile away. I think you should tone down your air of entitlement; you’re just asking for that remote to fall down behind the sofa, and taking credit for the lack of rain is a recipe for your application to hit the reject pile. A little too much help, perhaps???

In my world everything goes to priority list. The higher priority has a greater chance to happen earlier. You did not rank them according to your priority, so they all have the same chance. In my world, anything with unranked priority has a chance of zero. If you are asking about chances for this list, your world is not the same as mine.

^^You do understand that this thread is intended as a joke, right?

And it is funny!

That is what I said, joke still require answer, right?

You know your credentials are pretty weak when you’re happy just to get into your one safety, which is, “I won’t get a call from a nurse at the county health commission saying ‘Mr. Schmaltz? We have to talk.’”

If kind of feel sorry for the many people who’ve gotten a likely letter from “A press release from your alma mater will start off 'The university is proud to welcome its new head football coach, Lane Kiffin…”

It’s also a bad sign when it’s a safety that the Heisman candidate at your alma mater will be photographed driving a tricked-out Land Rover.

The shortest period of time ever measured was the segment of time between when my application to an Ivy League school was received, and when it was stamped “Rejected,” but I nevertheless think I’m classy enough to have as a low match, “At a restaurant, I will not order a $30 bottle of wine that ends up having the word ‘Dixie’ printed somewhere on the label.”

Here’s one: Schmaltz wins open-mike night at the “Harvard” of comedy clubs.

Fun thread! Thanks for the laughs!

I heard that JHS’s parents donated a lot of money to 2010.

Schmaltz seems a likely admit based on the LOL.

My safety is that a wealthy unknown relative in Nigeria will die, leaving me fabulously wealthy. With that, who really needs an education?
